A Chennai academy with a Japan-trained pedagogy.
We're a small, opinionated language institute. Three languages, sixteen levels, one rule: never teach a level we can't certify. Five years in, we've put more than 2000+ students through 12+ cohorts and a 95% repeat-takers pass rate.

Our origin
The story
Why Triqora?
Two of our founding instructors trained in Japan. They came back with a gentle, exact approach to teaching a foreign language to adults — patient, disciplined, and built on foundations. We borrowed that posture and named the academy Triqora for the three languages we teach seriously.
“We started Triqora because we kept meeting smart Indian students fluent in two or three Indian languages — but stuck with poorly taught foreign-language classes. We thought: if a student can master Tamil and Sanskrit grammar, they can absolutely master Japanese. The problem was never the learner. It was the teaching. So we built the academy we wished we'd had.”

Three principles

Exam-mapped, not exam-only
Every lesson maps cleanly to a recognised certification, but our students leave able to actually use the language — at work, abroad, in life.

Native or certified — never neither
Every cohort is taught by a native speaker or a JLPT/Goethe/DELF-certified instructor. No exceptions, no rotating substitutes.

The first cohort
Three students, one classroom, JLPT N5. The founders open Triqora in Chennai with a Japan-trained pedagogy.
- 2022
The N3 jump
First batch clears N3. Word-of-mouth picks up. We take the academy's first college partnership at VIT Chennai.
- 2023
German added
Demand for ausbildung and German engineering programmes brings A1 → C1 onto the syllabus, with TestDaF prep.
- 2024
French added
DELF/DALF preparation joins the catalog. Three languages, sixteen levels, one academy.
- 2025
12 partnerships
Anna University, SRM, IIT Madras, Loyola, and others are running our cohorts on campus. 2000+ students through our doors.
